We are super happy about our cooperations with two great sports clubs in Düsseldorf:
With 11 sports departments, the Polizei-Sport-Verein Düsseldorf e.V. offers a wide range of activities for everyone, not only for police officers! The spacious facility with artificial turf soccer field, where our kidz-in-motion camps take place, is located in beautiful Grafenberg. Not far away there is a shady forest playground and a wild animal enclosure, certainly a nice excursion, especially if it should be very hot.
The Sport Club Düsseldorf West 1919/50 e.V. in Niederkassel is known for its large soccer department. Handball and boules are also played here, as well as gymnastics. The numerous youth teams are always happy to welcome new members! Right next to the two artificial turf fields, the basketball hoops and the beach volleyball facility, there is a large sports hall where we can go in rainy weather. And a shady playground for breaks, which is a welcome change especially at lunchtime when it's hot, is also right next door.
Cool sports, exciting activities and new friends await you at kidz-in-motion!
Our day camps always take place from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. If your parents have to work or have something else to do, you can be dropped off as early as 7:40 am. Of course, the drop-off and pick-up times are flexible.
During the camp week you will get to know at least 12 different ball sports. These include floorball, basketball, table-tennis, handball, tag rugby, baseball, tennis (on the artificial turf court), soccer and lacrosse, also Basketball and Beach-Volleyball at the SC West. The camps in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of the vacation will be led by Aman (see below). He will show you how to defend yourself. Let us surprise you! We’re always open for more activities and if you have ideas, we are happy to try new games and sports with you. If you already have experience in a sport, that's great! Then you can show us what you've already learned. However you will also get to know other sports at camp.
I was born in Hamburg in 1994 and grew up in a large, colorful patchwork family with four siblings. After graduating from high school, I studied business administration in Göttingen and then worked in film for a few years.
Sports have accompanied and inspired me my whole life. At the age of 16, I was already coaching children in sports camps. For the last two years I have been organizing vacation camps for kidz-playground at several locations in Germany. Working with the kids is a lot of fun and fulfills me a lot.
I will be your contact person for the first week in Düsseldorf Grafenberg and will lead the camp there. I am really looking forward to you and the summer vacations!
Until then, your Kim
My heart has belonged to traditional martial arts for over 6 years now. That's why I spend a lot of my free time in the martial sports school - not only for training with my team and preparing for tournaments, but also to teach kids aged 6-14 years and to teach them self-defense.
I am 26 years old and live in Düsseldorf, where I was also born and raised. Here I study psychology and work in this context with autistic children. For the future, I plan to specialize in applied sports psychology to be able to treat children with sports.
I am looking forward to our time together this summer and I am very happy to be able to lead the kidz-in-motion camps in Düsseldorf in the 2nd and 3rd week!
Your Aman
I was born in Düsseldorf and I study business administration. I have been working as a trainer in sports camps with children for several years. For me, it is always a great experience to teach children the fun and joy of sports and movement in a playful way.
Sport is a big part of my life. I love to play tennis, soccer and enjoy practically any ball or racquet sport. I especially like the variety of sports at kidz-in-motion. I am very excited to be leading the camp during the 4th week of vacation at SC West and I am sure we will have a lot of fun together. I am already looking forward to meeting you!
Until then, your Alex
