Introducing ourselves

Hello, I'm Kim!

I was born in Hamburg in 1994 and grew up in a large patchwork family. After graduating from high school, I studied business administration in Göttingen and worked in the film industry for a few years.

Sports have always played a huge part in my life.

Already at the age of 16 I was coaching children in sports camps. For the last two years I have been organizing holiday camps for kidz-playground at several locations in Germany on a full-time basis. Working with children brings me a lot of joy.

With kidz-in-motion I have fulfilled my dream of starting my own company. I am convinced that we are making a difference with our camps by getting children excited about sports and exercise at an early age. This way we are creating important foundations for their further development. Personally it's very important to me that children from all sorts of backgrounds with different skills and experience get to enjoy a wonderful and healthy holiday week. At the same time, we want to support working parents in combining their family & career during summer break. It's definitely a win win for everyone involved and I'm super excited to finally get started.

Hey, I'm Dagmar!

As a mother of three children, a stepmother to three additional ones and a grandmother of three, there is always something going on in my family.

At kidz-in-motion I can be found in the office, less often on the sports field. I used to play a lot of tennis, later also field hockey, and currently I keep myself fit with yoga. Sports and children have been with me all my life.

Originally, I did an apprenticeship as a bank clerk and a car mechanic. For 14 years now I have been professionally organizing sports vacation camps for children. Now it's time for a new direction and a breath of fresh air! I'm really looking forward to getting started again with my daughter Kim!

Hi, I'm Aman!

My heart has belonged to traditional martial arts for over 6 years now. That's why I spend a lot of my free time in the martial arts school - not only for training with my team and preparing for tournaments, but also to teach kids aged 6-14 years self-defense.

I am 26 years old and live in Düsseldorf, where I was also born and raised. Here I study psychology and work in this context with autistic children. In the future, I plan to specialize in applied sports psychology so that I can provide therapy to children through sports.

I am looking forward to our time together this summer and I am very happy to be able to lead the kidz-in-motion camp in Berlin and Düsseldorf!

Hello, I'm Mike!

I am 26 years old and come from Hamburg. When I was younger I played a lot of soccer for many years. Also I spent part of my school career at a sports school, therefore I was able to get to know various other sports.

Sports have always been my true passion. Currently I'm studying Sports Management in Hamburg.

For more than 10 years I have been working with children in sports camps. Maybe some of you already know me from the Hamburg Stadtpark. This year I will be the camp leader for the kidz-in-motion camps there!

Hey, I'm Marla!

I am taking over as camp leader for this year's sports camps in Rissen. I have been working regularly at summer camps since 2018 and I am looking forward to being on the court with you again this summer.

I am 22 years old, a field hockey player and currently studying educational science in the Netherlands. One of my biggest passions is working with kids and teaching them sports through play. I love getting the kidz excited about the joy of movement and encouraging them to be active outside and try sports.

I have always had a strong connection to field hockey and the sense of community that comes with it. My goal is to bring this team spirit to the kidz-in-motion camps and to discover the variety of different sports like tennis, lacrosse, field hockey and many more together with you.
